and its starting off just peachy!

psip is nowhere in sight. comes up to background screen, no psip logon option...just the little launcher arrow in the bottom left.

    ugh.

    any thoughts?

There should be a repair option on the software discs that came with the PSIP. I just had to recently reload this software as well due to power failure.

nifty! Ill look into it.... pretty sure power failures were the culprit here.... should I be concerned that I have lost anything? media-wise?

I'm no expert but I've had PSIP power issues four times in the last 6 years. No problems with media before.

I do believe you can save your media list as well. Go to Stock Library>Options>Save Stock Library. You can save to a removable media so you can have it in the future.
