Our company is balking at the cost of Igen. It is HIGH in relation to our other printing systems, and most of what I do is not priced for Igen, it functions as a backup to a pair of Cipress 500's. which are also xerox, so they cant really be relied on, fully. They are fast, but they really print ka-ka in terms of quality.

So, if I were to replace Igen with ANYTHING, and still be able to produce similar quality, what would it be? keeping in mind:

-cheaper than Igen(lease, clicks and service)
-same paper capacity as Igen. heavyweight and texture wise.
    -must be close in quality
    -I can eat some speed.
-must be adaptable. which is probably MY most important feature.
IE: easy setup, multi drawer, good front end.
-relative simplicity to repair, in short time.

Personally, I feel Igen is the winner...but i thought Id try. :)

    thanks!
