Ive been gone for 4 days, family trip to Chicago.... was nice.

came back, igen wouldnt run. Also, there had been another EU problem, with overflow and flood apparently while I was gone.

the error I got was 09-3001, no PR encoder pulses.

odd. figured maybe rollers need cleaned... nope. major cracking of belt... I went to turn it by hand, and it wouldnt move, then it let go with a crunchy sound. ALmost like it was heated up. OR, maybe did it get wet? I cant find any other signs of moisture in the engine though. see pics. im confused. new belt and its running, so not emergency... there were two spots like this. one on top, another just below it.

    just weird.

I have been talking to different manufactures about creating a cycle time for the loop, just to rotate it around and prevent heat from doing this. So far their best response is to : either turn the machine off while not being used for several hours or just print one page occasionally. (not an answer I was looking for)
The stand-by modes cycle heating lights and/or rollers occasionally but I have yet to see an image loop cycle. this would be a nice feature to have !
