    Hello,
    we have purchased a used xerox doc 700 and after running it (without any issues), we got an error message 093-937 after replacing the cyan toner. Tried a few different toners but still get the same error.
    Would anyone know what is causing this and how to solve it?
    Thank you in advance.

    Where did you get these toners from? If the CRUM value of the toner is from another region other than North America it wont work.

    Check NVM 762-902 3=NA/ EU
    512= Neutral (factory settings)

    762-904 2= Sold
    3=Metered
    31= Neutral (factory settings)

    Hey,
    Thanks to your info I was able to determine that our machine's NVM 762-902 is set to 3 instead of 512 and 762-904 is set to 2 instead of 3.
    Unfortunately I can't change those settings as I get a message "the selected NVM is write protected".
    Is there any way to change these settings?
    Thanks again for your help/reply.

    Looks like the toner you have is wrong. Unless you are getting it from Xerox I would return it. There are a lot of Xerox toner canisters being filled with generic toner, these "counterfeiters" make it difficult to tell it's not the real thing.

    Compare the CRUM chips to ones that you know are real. You may see a difference.

    Generic toner depending on the quality, will damage the developer housings and will need to be replaced @ $600 each.

    And no I dont work for Xerox nor have I ever.

    The only other possibility is that you have factory toners, once the toners have been replaced for the first time they, the NVM setting will change depending on the replacement toners value. Putting 512 toners in wont work.

    The toner is fine... have used it before with no issues.
    It seems that the new copier has a NVM setting "sold" instead of "metered". I just don't know if there's a way to switch this setting without having to go through xerox. Otherwise I will have to get rid of the toners I have and purchase some that are meant for "sold" instead of metered.
    If you have a solution to switch my NVM settings I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks again for your help.
