Xerox 1000 with freeflow - bypass high cap stacker to a non "connected" finisher?

We have a Xerox 1000 with freeflow rip. We also have the high capacity stacker but no inline finisher attached or plugged into the Xerox. We would like the option to bypass the stacker when desired and deliver the sheet past the high cap stacker unit onto a conveyor that feeds into a un-connectable finisher. Basically, drop the sheet out of the end of the high cap stacker onto a baumfolder right angle unit. So.... because there is nothing physically plugged into the Xerox, the only options we can select in finishing properties are to deliver the finished sheets to the stacker. I see an option in the freeflow to set up an "external" finisher but don't really know if this is relevant to what we are trying to accomplish. We tried creating an external finisher, but it doesn't seem to appear in the job properties for finishing options.

Does anyone know if this is possible? If so, can you give me a detailed description of how to go about it?

You need some type of finishing device on it, the Light Production Finisher is the most common. Some of the smaller Xerox units have the ability to print "into a box" but the larger high production units will not allow for this.

If you ever consider purchasing a second unit, we keep several low meter 800/1000's in stock ready for Xerox service contract.

Thanks for the info. I feared that might be the case. We usually have an offset catch tray lying on the floor to trick the machine. But the machine we just purchased has a high cap stacker so we were hoping to take advantage of that. We are off contract and on time and materials with Xerox. Do you sell parts and supplies as well?

Not for the 800/1000 only for the smaller production units ie.. Docucolor,550/560, 700, C/J75, C60/C70.
