    Hello there,
I run a small wedding stationary shop in Rome, Italy, and I just got my first production printer, the versant 80. I had a phaser 7800 for 3 years, and last week I received the new big toy.

Now, I have a question for all of you.
I'm having trouble obtaining a perfect quality print on a 250gsm "textured" paper.
The same design is just perfect on a matte 250 stock paper, but wont come out clean on the more textured paper.

Note that I did the registration paper profile, and I have played quite some time with all the EFI FIERY setup.

Do you guys have the same kind of problem?
Do you manage to print successfully with your versant 80 on textured paper?
I never had this kind of problem with my little Phaser 7800, I belive that a machine that is more than 10X the price should at least get the same results. I'm I wrong?

    Have a nice day.
    N

Have you tried Image Transfer for the specific paper, on the machine?!

    Hello,

That machine is not made to print textured paper, you will have forever that problem, the only machine XEROX that print on textured printer is 800, 1000, and IGEN 3,4.
