    Hey guys

I am new here, and I would like to buy a used Xerox 560/570 printer, but I need some help because I am still new to this industry

1st, I need to know if buying a used printer is a good idea or what, I don't know much about these printers and I need to know what makes a printer bad or good to buy?

2nd, what meter counts that is good for a used 500 series printer? and for how much could I buy one?

3rd, I need some help with any certified centers in the US that sell a good printers with an overseas warranty services because I will need to ship the machine to Egypt

Sorry for the bad English :)

A very broad generalization, but the sweet spot for us with printers of this size is between 0 and 550,000 11x17 prints. After that we tended to see more issues with toner getting where it shouldn't inside the machine (e.g. into the ROS assemblies, even after cleaning and disassembly by a tech) and just generally a few more squeaks and maintenance items than under that.

The nice thing about a new machine is that you have a nice clean baseline and all the parts, rollers, wheels, gears, and sensors are new and clean internally.

Used or buying outright instead of under contract, my prefernce would be to have a pair of identical machines so you have a good comparison and the ability to swap parts to diagnose.
