The docucolor 12 was "top quality" until about 2006. Now other models have surpassed it a bit in quality and greatly in speed. I'm not sure about supplies and parts availability as it is getting up there in years. Check into how available supplies and parts are for how long you'll want to use it.

We would seriously suggest the Xerox® DocuColor™ 240 or 250 to replace a DC12. Parts and supplies are getting hard to find at a reasonable price so the lifespan of the device is coming to an end. You should be able to find a good condition machine (get the machine with the lowest meter reading, no more than 1 million clicks) in Europe that fits your requirements.

For all of your Xerox® DocuColor™ 240 or 250 toners, drums, fusers and parts just visit us on the link below.

    Hi

I can confidently say that it's not worth it. I sell such used DC12s with X12 RIPS for $2000 -$2500 and @ $5000 it's not a bargain. I also recommend you upgrade to DC 240 or DC 250. It will do exactly the same as DC12 and more.

However in the meantime, if you need toner other supplies for your DC 12, feel free to contact our team. We support most Xerox High Volume Printer/Copiers.

    All the best mate!
