Close tray 5 error

I am getting an error that says close tray 5 even if the tray is not hooked up it still says it. anyone know how to fix this?

 

The switch is probably bent. Open the top cover and look for a slot that has a stainless steel switch.

 

hey interface, the tray works when it is not hooked up to the hc tray and just to the printer itself.

 

The HiCap should have 2 connectors going to the Printer. Make sure they are both connected, otherwise remove the back cover and make sure all the connections are secure.
