    Hi,

Has anyone seen this before. When I print an image the Black part of the image is out of alignment.

I have a pretty good knowledge of these machines, but cannot solve this issue.
It was printing perfectly and suddenly when out of position. I will attach a picture to show the result. The crosses are "registration" marks.

    Hope someone can help.

My PWs says use Adjustment 9.8 for DC240 "registration control setup cycle" . Link PWS laptop and run DC675 to adjust color shift automatically.

Many Thanks for your replies. I thought it was going to be a dirty sensor or something like that. Do you know why it would suddenly go out of position.

Also would anyone know of an Engineer in the south east of England that can fix the problem? mark@printstation.org.uk

When the printer is turned on and it comes to the copy screen it then preforms a self registration test. This can be herd by a humming noise and a series of clicks. A series of chevrons from each drum are being laid down on the IBT belt and the clicking are MOB sensors opening and closing to detect where the chevrons are. It makes the needed adjustments on the fly. If for any reason the chevrons are damaged due to a dirty IBT belt or a defective drum the test will fail or cause the registration to be off.

I have see this issue several times and it is always an issue with the test failing.

    Good luck
