I have a Xerox DC 252 and have a streak in all four colors. Is there a simple fix and if not, can anyone recommend a tech in the San Francisco/Bay Area? My machine is out of contract.
    Thanks

This is a long-process-direction streak and not a short cross-direction streak, correct?

If it's in all colors, look at the things shared by all colors.

Have you already ruled out the fuser?

How does the 2nd BTR look?

How many prints on your transfer belt?

Is it a dark streak or a light streak in the prints?

Is it a thin well defined streak or a thicker less defined streak?

Yes, it's a vertical and the streak is in all colors. It's about 1.5" wide. I replaced the fuser about a month ago. I don't know what the 2nd BTR is. I'm also unfamiliar with the transfer belt. It's a light streak. Any help would be extremely useful. Thanks!

Can you post a scan online showing a test print with bands of CMYK that shows the problem. It might be cheaper to get a tech in to look at it than to try and replace parts to solve it through the process of elimination.

When you open the slide drawer which contains the fuser, before the fuser there is a perforated belt. Before this belt is a large roller (which also has a cleaner assembly.) This is the 2nd BTR. It's the roller that is on the bottom side of the paper where the image is transferred from the transfer belt onto the paper.

Above the fuser drawer and below the drum drawer is the transfer belt drawer. (be careful not to touch the transfer belt anywhere in the image area and be very careful not to dent or damage it.)

How many prints are on the machine's meters?
