My touch screen is off by about an inch. I followed the procedures to recalibrate it and when I use the stylus to touch the points I hear a beep on P1 and P3 only. I've done this 3 times and restarted. Any suggestions?

I had this exact same problem a few days ago. I hope you do not do what I did to my cost. I was told that the screen was "on its way out" and would eventually go (as they all do, seemingly). I found a Youtube video showing how this problem can be fixed with the use of a flame torch, gently heating the bottom left corner on the touch panel and then squeezing the plates together with fingers. I kept the flame on for too long and bubbled the plastic, thus rendering it completely useless. I then went on to do another thing I was advised, which was to remove the power chord for about 15 mins, this cleans out any residual memory in the circuits which may be causing a conflict. I had also removed the cable from the back of the monitor (which I thought the instructions were saying) but I forgot to re-install that when I started the machine up. While the machine was re-booting, I plugged it back in - fatal mistake. This caused none of my buttons to work and I had to buy a complete replacement unit (got one from eBay at £157 incl delivery, which I thought was pretty good).

If you've got through all the proper calibration procedures and it's still not working, try removing the power chord for 15 mins and see if that works.

Guys, there is an aftermarket option for touch screen. Check "partsdrop.com" they should have it...
