    Hi all,

We are moving premises in near future and just wondered if anyone had good advice about preparing and moving DC242, DC252 & 560?

Does well to be prepared and no doubt someone will know how to avoid simple or major problems...?

    Thanks in advance.

Remove all cables and UI base with UI attached. Disengage Finisher and remove cables. Wrap everything in shrink wrap and Bubble wrap if you have some. Also consider come corners or cardboard to protect the corners during shipping.

Thanks. Will certainly dismantle into components and pack well for transport, not long journey.
Is there anything more technical that should be done for moving? For instance is it good practice to remove toner cartridges, drums, or any other parts? Is there any locking mechanism on moving parts inside machines, that should be engaged for transport? Maybe someone has experience, good or bad with a machine move?

Xerox ships them brand new without drums and without toner installed. However, I don't remember anything being locked other than a lot of blue tape to secure copier and machine doors. Use an air-ride box truck if you can for a smooth ride.
