Xerox 8000 to buy or not to buy?

Guys, I'd like to ask from more experienced users as this machine is slightly out of my league... We're being offered Xerox 8000 machine, it has 2.9 mil impressions, was de-installed by Xerox. Price seems reasonable in compare what I see on the market... I haven't decided yet if we want to keep it and use or resell but is this machines are OK to get involved in? I know there are major problems with some of the machines models and wanted to ask if this on is not the model on "Stay away from it" list.
