Our M110 always has a lateral "streak" in the black unit lower side. We have been told by technicians and other printers they get this as well, and it is caused by the blanket and plate gaps; when they come together it causes a slight bounce which transfers to the sheet from the blanket cylinder. It does it only in tints of 30-40% and higher. Running the speed down minimizes it, but never gets rid of it.
We have checked the gears for slop and they are good. We are running a high compressable blanket, the Day 3700. Our print sequence is KCMY. Our festoon and infeed boards have been checked and running well. Our chill tension/speed is good. Any ideas?

I'd say check those ink forms as well, but check em warm not cold, also check your water form. Since its not all the way across I don't think it has anything to do with plate and cyl gaps. If the lead edge of the plate cyl is slightly out of time with the blanket, we get this too, but it goes all the way across. We run 1/2 webs on smaller presses but the concept is the same.
