We just finished converting our Heidelberg to UV. What are you guys running for fountain liners? We had the ink for 1.5 days and the ink ate right through the liners where the keys contact the fountain roller???

Are the UV liners made from a different material?

    Hi Guys
You can use Teflon liners and steel liners for better results
But will be expensive than the regular 0.19 thickness liners
On the other way you can open the ink zones more and reduce the fountain roller rotation to reduce the abrasive ink wear on the liners
White UV inks are more abrasive and try out the above options
By the way provide your machine size to get the part number from Heidelberg

Praba425, we have a Heidelberg XL105. We tried the Foil liners and believe it or not they only lasted 2 day in the black units. We are now using the 0.3 liners and the black units are lasting 1 week.
