Is there any such thing as white or metallic silver or gold toner available for any small laser printer? I'm looking for a way to both print gold and silver on invitations and also white on print on balck and solid color textured stocks.

A tech explained to me that you won't find silver or gold toner because there's no way to make it look really nice and metallic without actually being metallic (and if it were metallic it wouldn't work at all as it would arc all over the place in a charge-based printing system.) I'd sure love it if someone did come up with a metallic-looking toner though.
The closest I've heard of was an old transfer product that you ironed on that stuck wherever there was toner... not very practical except for mock-ups.

You can run the image area to be 1-color metallic or white on a laser and then run it through a Thermotype machine http://www.thermotype.com/ - cost is about $0.04/8.5x11 sheet for gold or silver - you can also cut the foil rolls down if the metallic-to-be area is smaller to economize. They have desktop machines that are very basic to full feeder machines where you can designate image area for the foil leaving other laser printed areas non-foiled. (or you can offset non-foil areas and laser foil areas and use the very basic model.)
