I'm working in the press and all of a sudden it gives me a sound of a paper jam. I verify and there is no paper jam at all. As soon as I feed paper it gave me the error. Can someone give me an idea what can be wrong need to finish this work in the next two days. Thanks, Denisse

Yes the sensors get built up with paper dust and press cheese and will give you a sheet jam error. They all need to be dusted off every so often. Paper board and transfer cylinder locations are the most common. If there ever is a problem with the sensor malfunction itself other than being dirty, you can turn it off manually inside the cover where the sheet and revolution counters are. You will see the on/off switch for each. But remember this sensor will not function and detect a jam or misfeed and stop the press if in the off postion. So timely replacement is suggested if needed.
