I am in the market for a 20" 4 colour press. I was looking at 1998 Ryobi 524 HX, with PCS control. Can Any one give me some feedback about running their Ryobi 524 HX. What they like about this machine and what they don't like. Thanks.

We have a 525HX, never had much of a problem with ours. Had it since 2001 (it's a 1998 ex-demonstrater from ry-offset). We have the in-line coater too. Just needed the usual TLC to keep it running properly. Can get it to fit better than our 524gx that has semi-auto plate change, although plate changes take 3 times longer. Keep your rollers in good condition, oil and grease regularly and keep it all clean and unabused then it should go for years. Definitely not a nightmare to run in my opinion. It all depends on the operator's skills too.
