Have a Ryobi 3200 MCD with crestline. Need to print white ink to where it is opaque and dries without too much or any offset.
Any suggestions on ink to use, dryer to add or anything else to help out? Eric

take opaque white right off your shelf. put some in fountain and print. make sure powder works. allow job to dry. no rocket science here

Well...my dad told me to skip feed it...which I couldn't do with my current press....so I gave it one time thru the press...let it dry and ran a second time...keep in mind....this was a long time ago!...I honestly couldn't see much difference?...he laughed at me when I told him what I did....he told me to add something when I did the second coat...I just can't freak'n remember what it was!!!...I also know I never tried it!!!...I did the job out of interest for myself...so I shrugged it off and never tried it again....I guess I could ask him again...but he has lost a lot of his memory here lately...as have I !!!....was it Talc? or is that just with gold metallic?...i would need someone to help jog my memory on that I guess!...Oh...I did it on 80# black stock.

Printing white on a conventional press isnt going to be great.
First of all you'll need polybond inks or something newer, (ask your supplier) X&Y dryers and spray. (not too much if you have to run through again) Stack a maximum to the equivalent of 250/500 sheets of 80gsm. Leave overnight. Sorry for the vague reply but ive used UV over the past 12 years which make life a lot easier

Try the Speedy Dry you can get it from Presstek this will boost your drying time amazingly. You can even use it to print over plastic. Also with this dryer you can use your powder in the minimum.
