    Hi,
My 3302M is having trouble with the double sheet detector. I traced it down and found the issue is on the main board. The copper trace is detached from the board almost the entire length and is broken right near where it comes out of the socket for the wires. I downloaded the electrical troubleshooting manual, and it's a scan of someones manual. On one of the schematics, the parts for that are written on it. Is this a common thing?
It seems it must have had high current slowly melt the copper from the board.
It looks like I can move the violet wire from the connector socket right to the ground to bypass the bad board since everything else if working fine, but I am concerned about what caused the problem to begin with.
I also thought I could add an inline fuse, if I could figure out how many amps the solenoid draws.
    Any thoughts?

This is very unusual, The solenoid is probably drawing too much current, It could be restricted in its movement. If you are putting a fuse in line go small first, I would meter it though and see what the draw is first. BTW, I have a set of PCBs for one of these machines if you need to buy one.
