Our company recently moved a Ricoh 3500 printer from one location where it was used by a single user to a network location with other employees around it.

Everytime the printer is used, it makes an annoying tone while printing is active. It does not seem to be a physical problem of rubbing or friction but is more like a printing tone that is sounded off.

I have looked a little through the online manual (of course, the original manual is long lost) but did not see anything nor did I see anything going through the printer menu.

Does anyone know how to shut this off. Worse case is I snip a wire but there has to be a better method out there.

    Thanks in advance.
