when calibrating the c751ex with the supplied efi spectrometer I am getting solid density reading of k=2.34, c=2.29, m=1.8 and y=1.78.
How do i bring these densities down to offset printing values?

Dont think that you can compare offset printing ink with toner. Both do something different with paper. Plus why do you wanna bring it down?

    Calibration vs Profiling

Hi, when you calibrate you are bringing the colour output back to a known level which you need for consistency. What you really need to do is to create a new output profile that more closely matches the colour output you're after.

Sorry little late, but Impresentation gave the right answer, you have to archive this with different profiles (in , output or paper settings)

    Hi jet,

Did you upgrade from a older ricoh? If so which one? How do you like the quality?

upgraded from a xerox, my 2 girls who run it give it a 6-7 out of 10. Not real flash for heavy coverage, training and support from ricoh is poor here in Australia.
