Ricoh 3260C and Fiery e7000 controller

I have a Ricoh 3260C and a Fiery e7000 controller. I have it connected to my network via the ethernet port on the e7000. I am able to print to the printer as a network printer without a problem. But I want to be able to manage the printer with WebImageMonitor, but all I get is the Fiery Controller options. I am unable to configure the printer to create network paths or email addresses to scan images to. I cannot find any documentation on how these two devices work together. Do I need to connect the network interface on the Ricoh 3260C in order to be able to manage it from WebImageMonitor? Or am I missing something in the Webtools for the Fiery controller?
