Hi, I am a newbie in printing. I just get a RICOH MP C2500 and also the PS.
I have a few question about the printer.
    1. RICOH has 3 modes RPCS, PCL and PS. What modes should I use? (I usually use the PS mode is it OK?)
    2. When using the RPCS I am able to print on A3+ size paper(up to 12"x23") from bypass tray, but when I am using the PS mode, I can't. The printer cancel the job. What should I do?
    3. When printing photos, the face is usually reddish. Why is it? Is there anything wrong with my setting?
    Thanks.

As to #3 which ICC color profile are you using when you print to this printer?

Did you try to change the image to bitmap standard, and try using the pcl6 driver, did the trick for me to sort out the reddish colour.

    1. The 3 modes you talk about are the different printing drivers, the RPCS driver is written by Ricoh and is the most reliable for that machine, the other driver is a more commonly use type on pc's I think written by Hewlett Parkard, I'm not sure about the PS driver.

    2. Carry on using the RPCS driver?

    3. Prints do tend to look darker on laser printers.

    Yes

    From the Ricoh website:
"Standard PCL 5e/6 emulation, Ricoh RPCS, and optional Adobe PostScript 3"
