    Hello all,

    I currently have 2 Konica Minolta Bizhub Press c7000 and 2 Bizhub Pr0 1200.
We've put about 6 Mil clicks on each in just over 2 years and are to the point of a service call a day to keep them "running".
I've started looking into other equipment but was hoping for folks running similar quantity to recommend what's working for them.

I'm looking for (in this order):

    Uptime
    Speed
    Quality
    Price

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Currently looking at a production Oce varioprint black and white, Canon and Konica's big black and white and color. Thinking about HP indigo.

If you are looking for uptime, dont buy Ricoh 7110 for color.

Is that dealer or branch service? A call a day is very unusal.

The new models C1070 series and C1100 series for color are a complete redesign with many improvements. The 1250 series has had major improvements.

Price - dont just look at the price of the machine. take into account the running costs of the supplies you will need to feed the printer !

We go with all inclusive clicks that includes toner and service and include that in the cost.

We're currently considering KM 1100, Canon 10000 and Xerox Versant 2100. Leaning toward the KM honestly.

Have you look at Riso 9150 Comcolor? I got here 4 Riso's at 9 million clicks per machine and now a year old and still no problem.

I've got a Comcolor but it's a pain to keep it running honestly. The quality is middling, at least for our needs... it runs a nice envelope though.

On black printing,it's really variable data what you are printing? what is the run lengths of your jobs? You should consider a Digital Duplicator like Duplo.

Hi. would you be in a position to estimate how many A3 coloured pages the CMYK (1000ml) inks can print with every refill?

The Oce Vario 140 series is arguably the biggest workhorse around for its price point. The machines experiences little to no jamming, and a drum that can last up to 8mil impressions. Plus you get close to the rated run speed on nearly all media due to the absence of a fuser. Just keep in mind the device isn't a fan of coated media, so if you run a lot of coated BW, another machine may be a better fit. You also don't achieve a very rich/dark black and the image area is easily scratched. The image quality and reliability is remarkable, High uptime, and No ozone or waste toner. Very low power consumption compared to any other machine - by a landslide.

As for Color you can maybe look into a Canon C10000. An Indigo is a huge jump from KM C7000. Ricoh also Makes a 9200 model that's rather productive. However the C10000 from Canon will maintain rated speed with it's dual fusers - and comes with a standard in-line Spectrophotometer. All around decent machine.
