Default How should this CMYK colour appear in print?

Hi all,

Please help me settle an argument.

What colour does CMYK 50/100/0/0 print as? Mauve, purple, burgundy, red?

Which Pantone colour is a good match for 50/100/0/0?

I'd add that it depends on the print sequence - KCMY or KMCY can give differing results.
