SinoFoldingCarton 2012 to Feature Special New Zones

SinoFoldingCarton has long been an efficient platform via which companies in the post press industry carry out commercial activities face-to-face. The event is also an ideal channel through which trade professionals learn the latest industry news, trends and developments. These professionals also use the show to evaluate emerging technologies.

SinoFoldingCarton 2012 will be held from April 11 to April 13 at Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center. This year’s event will showcase the latest changes in solutions in folding carton manufacturing and processing. It will also feature specialized zones that will vividly illustrate new applications and industry developments.

Printing Ink Zone



Today, China’s total output of printing ink accounts for 5-6% of the global total; fourth behind the US, Japan and Germany. Moreover, China’s total production of printing ink continues to grow at an annual rate of more than 10%. Considering that printing ink is developing rapidly in China, and the country’s folding carton packaging industry has such great market potential, SinoFoldingCarton 2012 will feature a dedicate zone for printing ink, to showcase the technologies, products and development trends in ink over recent years.

The showcase will promote the wider use of environment friendly printing ink and drive forward green trends in the printing oil manufacturing industry. According to the organizers of SinoFoldingCarton 2012, Reed Exhibitions, the printing ink zone has already attracted dozens of local and international printing oil and gloss oil manufacturers to exhibit. These include Guangdong Sky Dragon Printing Ink Group, Dongguan Run Li Hua Printing Ink Company, Guangzhou Sanguo Ink, Bailide, Kelly Chemical Corporation and Sheen Long Chemical Company. These companies are set to display a variety of folding carton packaging printing oil solutions.


Electronic Monitoring Code Zone


The electronic monitoring of drugs has become an increasingly topical issue in the field of drug packaging over recent years. At SinoFoldingCarton 2011, an “Electronic Monitoring Code Zone” was part of the show for the first time. The Zone featured inkjet printing equipment and technologies for use on pillboxes and parcels.

Renowned suppliers like Domino Coding, Kodak (China) Investment, Beijing Founder Electronics and Lixin Printing Machinery used last year’s showcase to directly engage with clients from across the folding carton packaging industry on new standards and policies for food and drug electronic monitoring.

Last year, the Electronic Monitoring Code Zone, and related forums, promoted the development of China’s labeling and packaging industry by showing how the application of electronic monitoring codes worked. It was a popular feature among participants to SinoFoldingCarton 2011, proving that industry professionals were fully aware of the importance of electronic monitoring codes.

SinoFoldingCarton 2012 will also feature an Electronic Monitoring Code Zone, to provide an efficient platform on which electronic monitoring code equipment suppliers can meet with representatives of folding carton and printing factories. The Zone is an effective method of promoting China’s food and drug quality monitoring and safety management. It will showcase new technologies and equipment for the production and application of electronic monitoring codes for drugs. Visitors to the Zone will be able to take part in lively discussions, as well as view market trends in the drug packaging and printing industry. They’ll also be able to assess the folding carton manufacturers that are entering the field of drug box packaging.

Currently, the Zone is set to feature high profile companies like Kodak, Shanghai Dragon, Lixin, Beijing Shield Science & Technology, Tongde, Jieming and Fuyuan.
