Purup-Eskofot DPX hardware problems -- need information & service manual

a P-E DPX 5080 CTP is giving a fault # 2213 "Spinner Driver Fault".

I am a qualified electronics tech who can repair most anything, but without a service manual I'm limited to generic things (testing voltages; checking cover switches; etc.).

I've read that the spinner and/or mirror may need cleaning. Is this something that is checked (ie, laser reception) prior to spinning up?

Any idea where to get the service manual? Mitsubishi Imaging has been not very forthcoming with info or a manual, but is willing to refer a Mitsu technician to us (thank you very much but we fix our own equipment...).

Any experience with this error? Suggestions?
