    Hi,
We are a high school operating a Mitsubishi CP-310 platemaker.

We found a number of rolls of pink colored plates in storage, no markings on them.
So far we can't get them to work in our platemaker.

Anyone know what these are and if they can be used in our platemaker? they are probably 7-10 yrs. old.

    Thanks.

My guess is probably not. Those are the old paper plates used in a Multi, back some years ago. If memory serves me the platemaker would put a toner down then the plate would need to be cured (heated) for the image to stick. Not to mention the plates didn't run all that well either. Save yourself a ton of problems and get rid of em. Just my 2 cents.

i had one of these platemakers and these paper plates years ago, the quality is crap and loss of image was a nightmare, so ive got to agree, just bin them and stick with your mitsubishi silvermaster or metal plates

Yep sounds like the old pink electrostatic plate material. Not compatable with the mega plate chemistry. I spent many years running those plates.
