I have a 617s Itek with an error message "knife jam check interlock doors" I check and nothing clears the message. also a resetting message at the top right will not go away either.
I can clear the knife jam message by powering down but the resetting is still there. Im stuck for this is my only platemaker and everything is at a standstill. I am in desperate need help.

I just got this one I'm afraid the moving might have disrupted something. The problem is I can't find anyone who knows anything about this camera.
I did get knife jam figured out but now I get a resetting message and it doesn't reset. I can't get it.

Well, I assume you got this camera from Mansfield, Illinois? He was not helpful? If my pressman comes in today, I will ask him if he can be any help. He did all the maintance on our Itek 430, which isn't much different than yours. I need the space in my shop for some new equipment, so if you want to consider buying mine as a back up, let me know via e-mail. jecraig@mchsi.com

I use to have one of these pieces of garbage myself, Had the same problems with it. I took everything out of it cleaned everything and put it back together and the resetting light went off for about a week then came back they are just a horrible design, my press tech even told me that they had about 4 of them at his shop all with same problem.
