    Hello,

I'm looking to have a booklet similar in make to a TV guide printed. What kind of paper so you think TV Guide uses?

    Thanks in advance!

they probably use a 40 # or 50 # coated 2 sided gloss for the text and 70 # for the cover ...my thoughts anyway

    Hi there,

I'm really new to the printing game and I'm trying to come to terms with the terminology and what it all means. I see you've quoted 40 # or 50 # what does the hash sign actually stand for and how would you say this if telling someone about weights of paper? I know # can mean "number"..but surely you wouldn't say "40 number"..doesn't sound right..lol.

I'd be really grateful for any help please.

    Kind regards

    Carol

    70 # = 70 pound
The inside pages of a tv guide are quite thin.
