    Hello,

We have a issue with our Roland 202.

There are a misregister in the right edge when printing the last two colors.

We thought that the paper was stretching in the right edge. But I think that is not stretching, because the misregister is not random, but a sequence of good one sheet and bad one sheet... successively.

We have double checked the cylinder grippers and is all ok.

Your help will be appreciated. Thank you.

If you have double drum impression cylinders, it would seem to point to a gripper problem or the cam follower, feed sheets through on impression, stop the machine via E stop and you should be able to narrow the bad grippers down?

    Good luck

The 202 does not have a double impression cylinder. If it is indeed consistently every other sheet it may be that your stock is bad and it was sheeted on a double roll sheeter.

    Hello there.
    Have you fixed this problem?
We have same issue but on Roland Praktika 2/0 -1/1 every other sheet is misregistred on right side. At first it started on misregistration on both sides, but we changed gripper pads, and now it is just on right side.
But strangely, when we print one pass first unit, than other pass second unit every sheet is 100% registred!?!?

    Try This

Take every other sheet out of the pile in the feeder for 50 sheets or so. Run those sheets. Let me know if that makes it any better or not and we will go to the next step.

Now we have reset all grippers in machine (except first gripper to the front marks) to zero point by book.
Minimal misregistration appears on every sheet, but first sheet on right side, other sheet on left side...
And still when printing one pass on first unit and other pass second color on second unit registration is 100%
