Can you prepare other individuals bulk mail under your bulk mail permit? I ask, because I do my own direct mail for my company and have a "niche" marketing piece. I have been asked by other companies to do their bulk mail for this similar marketing piece.

I know the rules for bulk mailing and I spoke with a NCOA provider who will give me a discount as mail agent.

What will I need to know or do different from my own bulk mailings that I would do for others? I really appreciate any help and this site has been awesome.

PS. Tried doing a google search, but could not find any information about preparing other companies bulk mail

Yes you can in this case when you fill out postage statement, you will select as mailing agent, permit owner, and your client will be mailing owner.

There is no need to do anything different . keep it the same. the basic steps is

1)get your presort software with NCOA from your vendor. BCC mail manager, stori software or windowbook name a few.

    2) ask client for mailing list, import to presort software, do CASS and NCOA, do presort and print out paper work + label , and then export presorted file to inkjet machine or laser printer (label).

    3) print it, when you done submit paper work on online PostalOne , bring it to Post office
