I would contact you local ikon vendor and ask to speak with either the Professional Services Specialist or the Production Specialist. They could absolutely help you.

    Pitney Bowes or Hassler

Jeff, I would contact your local Pitney Bowes Rep or Hassler sales office. They have all of the software & equipment necessary to get you up and running. For the CASS cert. software you will need to get the lowest postage rates, try Business Objects or Satori Software.

Go to the free seminars and classes that are actually put on by USPS regarding all the regs and rules for commercial mailings. We have someone that attends all of the classes and seminars throughout the year to keep up with all of the changes. You can get software which does all that work for you and doesn't cost that much to purchase.

I would recommend to a new mailer to use BCC software simply for the forum they provide. Its not as user friendly as Satori but worth the forum alone.

Stay away from Business Objects! They have no support anymore. You have to log all support issues into a confusing website and wait up to 2 weeks for an answer from India. We switched to Satori about a year ago and it is leaps and bounds better and easier. The support is outstanding,a person actually picks up the phone when you call!
