    Hi@all,

I´m looking for a wide format printer for rigid material up to 110mm / 4.4 inch thickness. Just get an info about an Epson, but don´t know model. Could be an older one. Min. working thickness should be 40mm.
Thx in advance and a happy New Year;)

    No Idea????
recently I watched a video about it. Perhaps could be an one off construction.
Need a hint for a comp or technician who can disconnect transport section from control/print unit for printing thick material like tarts. No joke, it works!!!

i think gerber springs to mind. Not sure what thickness it will print on at max though, sovent ink or uv ink to print directly onto foam board and bloody expensive. I could be wrong but sure i seen one somewhere

I think the 4.4 inch is too think. typical flat bed printers such as Mimaki UJF-605C will only allow 1.9" to pass through. But search for flatbed printers probably UV Curable as well.

Just found a supplier for decor material in NL. http://www.cakeart.nl.
They´re using Canon printer for molding print and built it for edible inks.
    In US http://www.candyartsupply.com

anyway, near Hamburg is a print shop who´s unsing an epson custom made printer for tarts.
    They´re printing on white chocolate.
