Rebranded Konica? (Olivetti MF45)

Hi, Anyone know which model of Konica the Olivetti MF45 is. I thought it was the C450 but I cant seem to install reset chips for the drum I keep getting a message "wrong imaging unit is set"

 

olivetti have their own chips, konica ones probably wont work.

 

So that means i shouldn't try buying C450 drums as well?

 

If drums have a RFID chips than, no you should not if resets with the fuse - than yes you should be able to use the drums.

 

i think its just two tiny screws to get the chips on or off, so theroretically you can use konica drums with olivetti chips, but check first before shelling out on drums

 

you CAN NOT use C450 chip. you can use the drum if you have the chip. But olivetti and konica chip are different brand.

So if you want to use a C450 drum you can do one of those:
1: Buy a Olivetti chip and replace the KM chip.
2: Just reset the chip from your old olivetti IU, and replace the KM chip with it.
3: Buy a resetter, and change brand for the KM chip to olivetti.
