Konica Minolta Magicolor1690 MF Internet connection issues

I have a Konica Minolta Magicolor1690 MF. I recently upgraded from WinXP on an old PC to a new PC with Windows 7. Every time I turn on the laser printer, I lose my internet connection (on my house network including my PC). Any ideas on how I can fix this or what the issue is?
