Ink Smears with Minolta 2300W Magicolor

Recently my pages started printing with magenta smears down the page. I ran a bunch of pages through thinking it would wear off, but instead the smear grew wider and wider across the page. The ink cartridges are all full and the drum life is at 50%.

Any suggestions for which part to check/clean and how to do it would be appreciated. I am helping a friend with her wedding invitations SOON and need this to be fixed, as inexpensively as possible.
