    I have a Konica Minolta 4695MF
It's printing black dots all over my pages.
If I take out the black imaging unit the drum has some black toner on it - if i clean it all off, the marks appear less on the next print but then appear in full force on the 2nd or 3rd.

Pretty much like this example (from Konica):

As there is a separate Toner Cartridge, I wonder if I can completely shake out all the toner from the imaging unit?

If i do shake the imaging unit there is a load of toner that shakes out, I thought that as there's a separate Toner cartridge there would not be a load of toner in the imaging unit?

Would really appreciate your help, I recently moved the machine up a flight of stairs so am wondering if it could be just a load of black toner that needs cleaning out.

    HELP APPRECIATED.

*I followed the general advice of cleaning everything and calibrating (turning off and on a couple of times). But the problem returns straight after the first print.

    THanks!

PS - I was really hoping this printer would not be added to the list of ones I've previously ended up smashing to bits.

I would say toner cardrigde defect. Try new one and run 10 printjobs. then you can tell if its getting better.
