C6500 machine,Toner stick on the drum, how to fix this problem?

This problem makes me crazy.the toner always stick on the surface of the drum(like spot or dot).after I clean it,it looks running well, but several hundred prints later,it comes again.

how can I do?someone told me it is the toner problem, but I change many times, still the same.

the first thing i would do is change the drum and see if this eliminates the problem. cant be the cleaning blade or youd have a line all around the drum in the same place.

the life of this drum is only 7%, I change it at last week. it could not be the problem of the drum for sure.

Ever since they fixed the blade flip issue, the drums have been %#@$^&#@.
I run into this problem once a week on this machine.

Replace the drum and return it to the manufacturer.

I had the same problem with RICOH MP9000 OEM DRUM and Toner always used. From the picture looks like a generic drum is used. Is it? I think I had traced the problem to the drum cleaning blade as it is pretty much the only thing that presses against drum with somewhat pressure. If you're running low coverage jobs or say, almost "0" cyan or any particular color that you're having a problem with, this could be created by extra friction, keep in mind that toner on drumblade also lubricated the point of touch. Do this - clean the drum or take a new one and run 5-10 sheets of that color. Simply create a band of 100% Cyan or whatever in iA and print some of that. See if problem will comeback and if issue fill be affected overall. I think I got the problem after running something like a letterhead with image only on the top all day long - 25,000 sheets. Printing a dozen or so sheets will lubricate a drumblade surface that engaged in cleaning and should illuminate the problem... In case I am right, for a future, if you know that your images are low on some color, run a few bands once upon a time...

    I have the answer

It is not often i say this, but I know what is wrong.

When you install a new drum, it has two screws (usually red) that need to be taken out from the drum itself. These screws stop the cleaning blade from cleaning the drum, it is there so the drum doesn't get damaged during transportation. Just take out the security screws from the sides of the drum unit.

I know this because this problem crippled my business for months.
