Streaks......

Hi !!

we got streaks on our GL540 H-UV
seems related to the dampener.
without dampener much better.

heared about a "streak cheat sheet" !?
maybe someone upload ?

I assume you mean horizontal streak? In tint or solid? What I do: Check stripes of all form rollers. Make sure forms are press driven not plate driven (stripe to osc roller slightly heavier than to plate. Last ink form on plate (delivery side) should be lighter than the rest. Make sure dampener form is not bouncing on plate. If a solid, try running as little water as possible. Make sure blanket is tight (that unit and following). I hope this helps.
