    Hi!

I and my company are rather new to the world of offset printing. we currently run an older L628 Komori and would like to reduce the amount of down time our machine experiences in between loads as we build them. My question is if there is any way to pre-build loads and then drop the whole load into the feeder? If so do i need any specific type of equipment?

thank you in advance for the answers and have a good day!

If your press has a plate on the feeder that you can wheel in a load with a pallet jack, then the answer is "yes!" you can prebuild loads. You will need an area where you can put a feed pallet on the floor against a solid vertical "wall." You also need a piece of L-shaped iron mounted vertically on one side of your flat throw-wall. This is so you can jog the stack correctly. Center the feed pallet according to your sheet size, toss your load, move into feeder with pallet jack. Voila.
