Installing a 2002 L28 Komori 5 color w coater. I'm the pressmen, 20+ years on Heidelbergs, maybe >2 on Akiyomoma. Any advice for this old dog?

If you get apc you'll love it. We have 626emp (perfector between 2 & 3) Plate ups are quick and accurate. If you have the preset counter use it in conjunction with a generic ink key setup profile for fast inkup, makes for quick & consistent makeready. Make sure all rollers, especially dampeners are in the best condition, new is best! Good luck!

I run an older 1995 Lithrone 628+coater. I'll post a video one of these days. Soak up every bit of info from the Komori Tech/Installer. On the transfer cylinders we us the Printguard Orange hide #F300S. Also when not Aqueous coating sometimes the sheets slap against the blanket of the coater, so we remove the blanket and place the antimaking sheet on the the cylinder with 2sided tape. Good luck!

What I have found what works better is just bumping off the coater unit with full packing. And those tech guys are great sources of information. They get everybodys input and will share it with you. Just ask.
