KOMORI Dampening Motor Control Board

Can anyone help with an aftermarket replacement inverter… this is the same unit that's used to control the water motors.

You specified "aftermarket replacement inverter". The most commonly used, I've seen, is Lenze.

Thank You "Presselectronics" the reason for "aftermarket" mention is cost... I would much rather use the same drive to keep everything the same.. would You repair the existing drive or replace it with an aftermarket like the one You've recommended?

 

Depends on the cost. I've seen rebuilts of your original drive sold on Ebay.

Wiring recommendations are a bit beyond the scope of this forum and I generally recommend that non-electricians hire techs to wire up anything that uses 220VAC. That being said, I have listed a few ideas below. Check with your press schematics and the manual that came with your inverter for more detail. Also make sure power is off before working on anything electrical on your press!

R S T are main power from press and should land on L1 L2 L3 on the inverter
UW* VW* WW* from the press should land on U/T1 V/T2 W/T3 on the inverter (* equals unit number)
1WA -1WWM5 are from the encoder and not used on the inverter
109-115T1 (depending on unit) should connect to 4 on inverter terminal strip
109-115V1 (depending on unit) should connect to 1 on inverter terminal strip
1-6W3 (depending on unit) should connect to 6 on inverter terminal strip
1-6W4 (depending on unit) should connect to 5 on inverter terminal strip
1-6W1 (depending on unit) should connect to 2 on inverter terminal strip
P24B should connect to 16 on inverter terminal strip
A19-A115 (depending on unit) should connect to 17 on inverter terminal strip

 

But what abt parameters to be set on the drive like the motor base frequency and voltage. Pls help.

 

There are actually much more parameters that need to be set correctly, especially if the drive is used (not the default settings) I know this is not the answer You're looking for… but I highly recommend asking a motor tech set them for You. As far as the basic settings say the voltage information is stamped on the motor itself.

 

Most of the motor tech are unable to set drive parameters since they are not familiar with this type of work of retrofitting. Since the motor of komori is a servo motor. Wrong setting make the motor draw more current or does not rotate. Any info please help.

The parameters depend on exactly which motor you are using.
You need the nameplate data to program specific parameters.
Voltage, frequency, Amps, poles, etc can vary depending on the age of the press.

 

post a picture from your motor nameplate, and perhaps a picture of how you've wired/connected the device

Hi any one can help in setting the parameters of the drive for komori servo motor ?

Motor Specifications are GRK2150K-ZG10, Part # 274-5045-402, Capacity: 150W, Rating: 3x220-230V / 1.3A, Encoder: 1000 P/R, Gear Ratio: 1:10, Out R.P.M. 200 Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. , Japan.
