Been have problems with ink picking on the perfecting cyclinder jackets. The polished cyclinders dont have a problem. Does anyone know anything good to use to maintain the life of the jackets?? Thanks

The surface of jackets changes from one supplier to another.
What kind are you using ? Komori originals from Japan ?
Do you have back cylinder auto washers ?
How much dir you print on the Jackets ?
do you print with "0" pressure or do you add on it ?
do you print heavy stocks ?
what is your alcohol % IN THE DAMPS ?
TEMPERATURE IS IMPORTANT TO INK DRYING!
temperature in the rollers (temp control?)
temp of the dampening solution at the press
conductivity makes a diferance in drying
If your ink is not backed up by the right conditions , it will tend to "get off" more on the back perfecting cylinders

We a currently Printing U.V. on our 8/c LS and had problems with our Perf.Jackets. Komori would not supply smooth Jackets for this position, We found a local supplier for these and have reduced the cost of our washup material and linting has gone away. They will only work if your running U.V. or Hybred inks
