    Dear All,
My Komori 426 has suddenly developed a problem. Ink delivered to the copper rollers and oscillating rollers suddenly stop adhering to the rollers. I was told by the ink company (Sakata) that it was a problem caused by hard water (specifically Calcium in the water).

Could this be the cause or is there any other cause? Black colour has no problem however.

    Please HELP!!

    Yes , that's right.
You will get it the most on your CYAN and MAGENTA units , and less on others.
When you have Calcium deposits in your rubber and on your coppers , it will take water and less ink.
You should wash your rollers very very well with the right stuff to de-calsify them.
If you will contact me direct i will give you my opinion on the best to be used - can't do it here.
THis proccess is needed on a regular base if you have hard water.
If you install a real water treatment system from presses , you will get over it and need the proccess way less.
If you want i can send an Indian based engineer to help you and solve your problem too :)

You need to remove calcium from you rollers, just use a good calcium remover and de glazer paste. You can also use a copperizing solution on your komori for copper rollers.
