hi, does any one know, what the small "toggle " switches do on a grafix spray powder device do? i know that they make the device pulse.Do you set them according to the paper size? As in 450mm or 045cm.The guys seem to be running way to much powder on jobs , thought id have a play but unfortunately no manuals.
    cheers

much spay powder the gap that delivers the powder may be to wide it can be lowerd i would check with feeler gauge
than go toa lower gauge small increments than put a blank plate under nozzles andcheck spray pattern good luck

if you do run in pulse mode you need to be aware of the timing of pulses as spike pointed out. Id strongly recommend that if you do pulse your powder delivery that you set the pulse to the longest gripper to tail sheet and keep it there because eventually a job will get ruined by someone forgetting to switch over from a shorter pulse to a longer pulse. Some of the current graphix powder units will automatically do this for you when you enter the sheet size as your setting up your job. It should also be noted that on a modern high speed press the graphix unit will automatically come out of pulsed operation and deliver continuos powder as a result of not being able to keep up at speed.
