Hewlett Packard is recommending their "HP Photosmart B8550 Photo Printer," based on my requirements and desires. I don't trust reviews from individual buyers on merchant web sites, because I find that the reviews are not always attached to the correct products (i.e. ink-jet-related complaints are attached to a laser printer).

So if any of you have experience with this particular model, I would really appreciate hearing from you. I need to hear about any excessive paper jamming problems, features that cause waste of expensive ink (not good for the environment in the first place), and horrible maintenance/customer service stories. I'd like to know if the prints really are potentially "lab quality." And anything else you can think of that would help me decide.

HP tells me this machine won't do duplex printing; when you turn the paper over to print on the other side, do you get a lot of creased, crooked, and jammed paper, or does it work reasonably smoothly?
