i'ld like a real world recommendtion of a consumer inkjet printer for envelopes.

    Straight Paper path

Bulk ink supply capable - recommendations on supply and ink suplliers also.

Prefer if it could feed #10 envelopes sideways if possible this means 9.5" width capability / maybe 10" for 10x13 envelopes. Not essential if not possible.

It should be able to hold 10 or 15 envelopes.

I'm wondering what the advantages of the 5 color Canon Pixma ink is over a 4 color Epson for instance, if any.

For larger quantities we can use our AB Dick with T51 or our DI for 4 color, I'm just looking to see if we could get shorter runs without 1st spending 15,000 on a Xanta or PSI.

    Thanks,

Alternatively, are their commercial inkjet printers capable of full color at the $1000.00 end that would print near offset quality. I'm looking more in the 500 per hour with decent envelope feeder for unattended operation.

We have a delivery conveyor we could use from our press.

    Thanks,
